What electric outdoor equipment qualifies for a rebate? Corded or battery-powered options, including:
• Lawn mowers
• Trimmers
• Leaf blowers
• Chain saws
• Snowblowers
• Rototillers
• Pressure washers
How much is the rebate worth?
A rebate in the amount of 50% of the cost of the electric outdoor equipment, up to $50, is available for member-consumers.
As an example, if a Craftsman electric string trimmer costs a member consumer $90, the rebate would be $45. If a member spends $120 on a Stihl string trimmer, the maximum rebate would be $50.
Where should I buy my electric lawn equipment?
The rebate program does not provide references to purchase locations. Member-consumers can choose to purchase their electric lawn equipment online or in the store of their choice. If the equipment meets the rebate requirements and follows the terms and conditions, the product should qualify.
What are the other qualifications for a rebate?
Must be a current Southern Indiana Power residential member consumer. • Member must occupy the home year round.
• Rebates apply to lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, chain saws, snowblowers, rototillers and pressure washers. Corded or battery-powered equipment is eligible.
• Equipment must be purchased new. Reconditioned or refurbished equipment is not eligible Limit two rebates per member account.
• Member must complete and submit application.
• Proof of purchase required. A receipt or paid invoice must be submitted with the application.
• Completed rebate application and documentation must be received within 90 days of purchase date.
• Equipment must have a minimum one-year warranty.
• Battery lawn mowers must have a minimum of 36 volts.
