For nearly 49 years, Hoosier Energy and member cooperatives have supported Indiana tourism by sponsoring the Indiana Festival Guide. A popular and comprehensive tourism publication, including festivals, craft fairs, holiday shows, historical re-enactments and community celebrations are available free of charge from Southern Indiana Power.
Electric cooperatives are committed to the communities they serve. That is why Southern Indiana Power is pleased to help highlight a wide range of events coming to communities throughout the state.
Hoosier Energy started the Festival Guide as a community service for its member cooperatives in 1972. Interest in the publication quickly spread across the state with 500,000 copies distributed covering events in all 92 counties.
