Apprentice/Journeyman Lineman
Southern Indiana Power, an electric distribution cooperative, is seeking qualified applicants for an apprentice/journeyman lineman position. Applicants must have at a minimum a high school diploma or its equivalent and must live or be willing to relocate within a twelve (12) mile radius of the Cooperative’s headquarters located in Tell City, Indiana. Applicants must be available to perform work after normal hours when called upon and have a willingness to work outside all year long at times in adverse weather conditions. Pole climbing, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and operating distribution line trucks and equipment is required. Applicants should possess or have the ability to attain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License a (CDL). Experience in the Electrical Industry is preferred but not required.
